New York

New York is also known as New York State. It is located in the Northeastern United States. With 20.2 million residents, it is the fourth-most populous state in the United States as of the 2020 census. New York is the 27th largest U.S. State by area. It has a total area 54,556 square mile (141,300 kilometers). It shares a maritime boundary with Rhode Island and a border with Canada’s provinces of Quebec and Ontario in the northwest.
